Assignment:

• The commercially available plastic part is expensive and brittle. Finding a manufacturing solution with additive process, which is not brittle and costs less than the commercially available product. 
• Determining the operational environment, force effects, UV radiation etc. 
• Preparation of a CAD model based on the original template with the Fusion 360 CAD software, reinforce possible stress points. 
• Selection of additive series production processes and raw materials depending on the quantity considering the opportunities of FDM, SLA, MJF processes. 
• Small-batch production using the CFC fibre drawing composite process with a Markforged MarkTwo 3D printer from Onix material.
